Topic: Study Tip - Chapter 1 - Studying Environment
It is always in your advantage to have access to somewhere which is conducive to studying.
The most basic of the requirements is to have a quiet setting. Light background music or faint background noises are fine, but definitely not chattering voices or any mixture of sounds involving lots of words. They not only conflict with your state of concentration but are also affect your ability to take in words in long texts.
Make sure that a proper table and chair are available to you
. A seated, upright posture can enhance your ability to absorb information, as opposed to lying down or sitting in leaning positions.
Proper illumination
keeps sleepiness at bay.
Lastly, it is important to work with a clean desk surface
. Getting it cluttered over with notes will only serve to frustrate you!
